We are Cub Scout Pack 2 chartered by Scouts BSA serving families in Austin's Northwest Hills neighborhood and Doss Elementary.
Does your child like to camp? Have they ever slept on an aircraft carrier? How about swim in the Frio River? Or maybe cook s’mores over a camp fire while telling jokes and performing skits?
Cub Scout Pack 2 takes your scout on a fun journey doing things like camping, hiking, biking, fishing, building and racing Pinewood Derby cars, and working on educational activities and achievements that teach your kids how to be considerate leaders, good citizens, and promoters of conservation and smart living. View the attachment below to see some of the fun activities planned for the 2024-25 school year.
Cub Scout Pack 2 is a very active group of about 60 1st - 5th graders. Most attend Doss Elementary or live in the Northwest Hills neighborhood of Austin, TX -- but all are welcome!
We're based out of Northwest Hills United Methodist Church located at 7050 Village Center Dr, Austin, TX 78731 (all faiths are welcome). We belong to the Armadillo District of the Capital Area Council within the Scouts BSA organization.
It's always a great time to join Cub Scouts! Check out this website for more information about scouting with Pack 2.
Events are light during the summertime, but we do have a few fun activities where your child can get to know some of the scouts and learn more about scouting with Cub Scout Pack 2. To be added to our roster of interested families, please fill out this form, and you'll receive a periodic eBlast email with upcoming events. Things pick back up when the new school year starts. We'd love to have your family in Pack 2!
