Scouting Adventure Weekend will allow our cub scouts to work on adventures for their rank, meet older scouts and improve their shooting range skills. BSA Scouts, Venturers and Cub Scouts will compete against each other testing their skills as a team, improve their shooting skills, and will work with cub scouts on an activity. This is an opportunity for scouts to meet scouts in other units.

Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO) Training is for all Cub Scout Leaders and parents. 

MEGA Training offers you the chance to meet other Scouting volunteers like yourself while also taking important training courses you need to become a better leader (and have more fun doing your Scouting job). A lot of the folks you’ll meet have probably dealt with an issue that’s puzzling you and can offer advice from a position of experience.

For those families *not* attending the Cub World Campout, here is an opportunity for your Cub Scout to have fun learning new skills! The University of Scouting offers more than 100 classes in different “colleges,” with dozens of new classes each year. Sign up for anything that interests you, from Weird Science to Dutch Oven Cooking to Skits & Songs, and more! You will find training on topics not covered anywhere else at any other event in our council. We focus on topics you can take back to your unit and use right away; practical information that will help you improve your program or the organization itself.

Each year scouts must review and discuss safety videos as part of their requirements for rank advancement. Please watch the appropriate rank tagged videos below and discuss with your scout safety issues within. In addition Please make sure to read over the Youth Protection pamphlet and discuss it with your scout.
